🌐 Internet Speed Test
Check your download speed, upload speed, and ping instantly — free and accurate, powered by M-Lab.
📖 How to Use This Speed Test
Step 1: Prepare for the Test
For the most accurate results, close any apps or browser tabs that use the internet (YouTube, Netflix, downloads, etc.). Connect your device directly via Ethernet cable if possible, or move close to your WiFi router.
Step 2: Press the GO Button
Click the blue GO button above. The test will automatically measure your Ping, Download speed, Upload speed, and Jitter. The entire test completes in under 30 seconds.
Step 3: Understand Your Results
Once the test finishes, you will see 4 key metrics:
| Metric | What it Means | Ideal Value |
|---|---|---|
| 📡 Ping | Time for data to travel to server and back (latency) | Under 50ms |
| 〰️ Jitter | Variation in ping — affects video calls and gaming | Under 20ms |
| ⬇️ Download | Speed at which data comes to your device | 25+ Mbps |
| ⬆️ Upload | Speed at which data leaves your device | 5+ Mbps |
Step 4: Compare and Improve
Compare your results with the speed chart below. If your speeds are lower than expected, try the tips in our improvement guide at the bottom of this page.
📊 Internet Speed Chart — What is Good?
| Speed | Rating | Best For | Not Suitable For |

| 100–500 Mbps | Excellent | Multiple devices, smart home, gaming | Almost nothing — very capable |
| 500 Mbps–1 Gbps | Gigabit 🚀 | Power users, offices, large families | Overkill for most home uses |
Ping / Latency Chart
| Ping | Rating | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| 0–20 ms | Excellent | Competitive gaming, live trading |
| 20–50 ms | Good | Online gaming, video calls |
| 50–100 ms | Average | Streaming, browsing |

💡 Tips to Improve Your Internet Speed
Move Closer to Router
WiFi signal weakens with distance. Move your device closer or use a WiFi extender/mesh system.
Use Ethernet Cable
Wired connections are always faster and more stable than WiFi. Use LAN cable when possible.
Restart Your Router
Turn off your router for 30 seconds, then turn it back on. This clears cache and refreshes connection.
Reduce Connected Devices
Too many devices sharing the same connection can slow everyone down. Disconnect unused devices.
Check for Interference
Microwaves, cordless phones, and walls interfere with 2.4GHz WiFi. Switch to 5GHz band if available.
Call Your ISP
If speeds are consistently below your plan speed, contact your Internet Service Provider to diagnose the issue.
